For her, the emergence of warm colors in her art coincides with her burgeoning sexuality as a lesbian woman. For me, the warm colors on the curves and caverns of the paper evoke a feeling of intimacy and the human body. At this stage, I commit to covering every reachable surface with paint — not just the visible.
